This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, and protect your information when you interact with my spaces, including my Substack publication (“EstyUbuntu” / “The Neurospicy Oracle”), my website, and related platforms.

By subscribing, reading, or interacting with any EstyUbuntu content or offerings, you agree to this policy.

1. Who I Am

Hi, I’m Esther Milanzi, the intuitive coach, educator, hypnotherapist, and writer behind EstyUbuntu and The Neurospicy Oracle.

My ecosystem includes the following platforms:

2. What Information I Collect

I only collect the information necessary to deliver content, courses, and communication you’ve opted into.

Information you provide directly

  • Name and email address (when subscribing, enrolling, or contacting me)

  • Payment and billing information for paid courses, readings, or products (processed securely by third parties. I never see your full card details)

  • Details you share through forms, surveys, or comments (e.g., feedback, testimonials, or community engagement)

  • Birthday details- for Human Design, Astrology, or Astrocartography Readings.

Information collected automatically (via my platforms)

Each hosting platform (Substack, Squarespace, Podia, Kit) may automatically collect:

  • IP address, device and browser info

  • Location (city/country level)

  • Site activity (pages visited, content viewed, time spent)

  • Email engagement metrics (opens, clicks, unsubscribes)

These analytics help me understand what resonates most with my readers and students.

3. How Your Information Is Used

I use your information to:

  • Send newsletters, reflections, and announcements through Substack or Kit

  • Deliver courses, coaching materials, and digital products via Podia

  • Send follow-up emails or special offers related to your purchases or subscriptions

  • Respond to messages or support requests

  • Improve content, offerings, and user experience across all platforms

When you sign up for my Substack newsletter, your email may also be added to my Squarespace, Kit, and Podia mailing lists so you can receive related resources, updates, and invitations.
You can unsubscribe anytime from any of these communications by clicking “unsubscribe” in the email footer or emailing me directly. When you unsubscribe to one, it doesn’t automatically unsubscribe you from all, but I am happy to support you with this, if you want to be removed from all platforms.

Depending on your location, I rely on the following bases under GDPR and similar frameworks:

  • Consent – when you subscribe or opt into communications

  • Contract – to fulfill your purchases or course access

  • Legitimate interest – for basic analytics, service improvement, and subscriber communication

  • Legal obligation – when retention is required for accounting or tax purposes

Your data is shared only as needed with:

  • Substack, Squarespace, Podia, and Kit – to operate and deliver my content

  • Payment processors – Stripe or PayPal (for course purchases or paid readings)

  • Collaborators and assistants – bound by confidentiality agreements

I never sell or rent your personal data.

10. Children’s Privacy & Safeguarding

While most of my newsletters, courses, and coaching programs are created for adults, I also offer creative-writing tutoring for students with parental or guardian consent.

I take child safety and data protection seriously. I do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under 18 without verified parental permission. Any limited information (such as a student’s first name or email for tutoring purposes) is used solely to facilitate learning and communication—with oversight from their parent, guardian, or school representative.

As a former educational administrator, I maintain annual child-safeguarding certifications through partner schools and/or UNICEF-aligned programs, ensuring that my practices meet international standards for privacy, ethics, and child protection.

If you believe a child has subscribed to my adult-focused newsletter or shared personal information without consent, please contact me immediately so I can remove or anonymize their data.

This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect platform changes, legal updates, or new offerings.
The “Effective Date” above will show the latest version.
